Resonator

Your sound. Even without a signal.

THE IDEA

Your sound. Even without a signal.

An iPhone player built around a simple frustration: downloaded audio should play when the connection is bad. Resonator combines an offline library, podcasts, and ambient sound layers that can keep going underneath either.

SwiftUI · SwiftData · AVFoundation · SpeechAnalyzer

01

An offline-first foundation

Import music, download episodes, and keep the playback path independent of a reliable connection.

02

A podcast workbench

Queues, progress, per-show speed, chapters, transcripts, and sponsor-break detection support longer listening.

03

Build the sound around you

Independent ambient scenes can continue while the foreground switches from a song to a podcast.

WHERE IT STANDS

Where the work is today.

Built and installed on iPhone as a private personal app. A playback-start timing fix is technically tested; repeated real-world listening confirmation remains open.

The graphic represents independent audio layers. It does not display live levels or a screenshot of the app.
